Isabella Yamamoto (山本イザベラ Yamamoto Isabella) is a supporting character in the Paradise Kiss anime and manga series.
She is introduced as the kind and nurturing mother figure among the ParaKiss crew, as well as a childhood friend of Jōji Koizumi. Having been one of his very first clients and gaining inspiration to make dresses, thus pursuing the path of fashion and design.
She is also identified as a transgender woman.
Biography[]
Early life[]
From what we can be able to deduce about Isabella's personal background, not only is she born from a wealthy family, but she's been under the care of her butler, Ueda, throughout most of her life. Seeing that the relationship with her blood related family is apparently strained.
Because Isabella had always wanted to wear dresses at a very young age, it wasn't until she met Jōji Koizumi -- that she was able to have her wish granted. Thus, becoming one of his very first clients to wear the outfits that he crafted himself.
Since then, Isabella began to actively pursue the path of fashion and design, due to George being the source of her inspiration.

Isabella is a very beautiful woman who stands tall in terms of height, making her the tallest amongst the ParaKiss crew.
She has long purple colored hair that's wavy in texture, a fair complexion, light grey eyes, a matching-colored flower painted upon her left eye, and red colored lipstick.
In reference to her high-class status (being born into a wealthy family) and graceful femininity, Isabella's choice of outfits is seen as elegant and aristocratic.
Personality and traits[]
Isabella is introduced as the calm, kind, graceful, and patient individual.
In reference to her "mother figure" trait, often acting as the voice of reason among her inner circle, Isabella maintains a patient demeanor when speaking and being spoken to. An example of her being understanding and building rapport with those she interacts with is usually whenever Yukari is in doubt about her relationship with George or if she needs some life advice. As a result of this, Yukari is always able to openly express her thoughts and feelings with the former, especially during hard times.
Aside from that, Isabella is noted to be an exceptional cook, as she's always seen making meals for everyone. Something that she takes joy in doing.
